A-line bob haircut is always classic and always on trend. I have been noticing a big trend in my salon and in the world around me. Seems from Kelly Ripa, to Heidi Klume, to the dental hygenist in my chair. The trend is the classic slight A-line bob. Not the bob that Barbara Streisand did in the 60’s or overly severe A-line that Victoria Beckham did 10 years ago. Its the slight classic one that I am doing and seeing on the streets and in the mags. I show below here two different type shapes you can do. The to the chin length type bobs, or the to the shoulder one. Both of these ladies wanted to jump and do it and I was all over it!
a-line bob I see women tossing out the extensions and going for a re-do and freedom type cut. This classic cut never goes away its versatile and easy to do. You can flip it side to side, curl it with a barrel iron, to a smooth blowout for a more polished sleek look. I have to say this cut has been one of my favorites to see and do. The result always comes out looking good. Even on a super curly client with texture. Its a statement and it looks spot on like you have your act together. I mean after this trend of the long flowing Kardashian type barrel waves, its nice to see women chuck the jail of long hair. Yes long hair has its place but its nice to see a woman just jump and do it.
I like to cut a bob as smooth as I can get it and give it some soft, long, layers inside the shape of the cut, to give it volume and lift. It can also be cut into a rag bob like Kelly Ripa has done here.. It can be polished off with a volume spray like Moroccan oil Root Boost and a Smoothing lotion by Moroccan Oil for the ends. This haircut hands down will save you time and always look damn good!
